Northwest Independent Baseball League

Are you a ex-pro or a College player that graduates this year with a passion for playing baseball and your not ready to take off the cleats and hang up your glove?  Well put the cleats back on, grab your glove and continue to play baseball next Summer 2012 in the Northwest Independent Baseball League.  Play on the Columbia River Cats  team this summer.  You can continue playing competitive wood bat baseball, make new friends, network with league players, coaches, and managers.

Register Here for Summer 2012 and get back in the ball game.

The Portland Columbia River Cats are a new baseball team in the Portland City Northwest Independent Baseball League and we are a highly competitive team in the upcoming 2012 summer season. We have 12-14 roster spots open and want to fill them with local Portland baseball players 22 and older. The majority of the team will have played at the college level or equivalent (pro experience a plus). We play about 20 league games at Volcanoes Stadium, Sckavone and Walker Stadiums with games split between weeknights and weekends. Our team also plays in some extra tournaments and out of town games as well. If you are interested in playing this summer (2012) and would like more information please email D Wangenheim
